Security

The internet is not a secure medium. However we have put in place various security procedures as set out in this policy.

The server that provides the services offered by West Leeds Enterprise Centre runs on a Windows operating system which is continually monitored and all available security maintenance is carried out as and when required. The server is physically housed in a high security premises. Access to the server is only provided to authorised personal via security ID badges, which are monitored onsite by video surveillance and 24 hour security personnel. Electronic access to the server is restricted at IP level by a firewall. All unnecessary TCP/IP ports are closed to public access except those necessary for the operation of the website.
